| 5DSPG has a glorious history and tradition, this heroic division has ever joined in Nanchang-Aufstand, the long march of 25000 Li,the Great Wall in Pingxingguan, Hundred-Regiment-Offensive,and Large-scale Production Campaign of Yanan. | corps is rearranged to be the branch of CPLA in Xinjiang.After the Tacheng and Ili Riot, it moved to Bo'ertala Zhou,which is neighboured by Kazakhstan, in January,1963. Bo'ertala Zhou covers 33 square kilometers, 800 thousands are of field,and 110 thousand of people and the corps is a special organization integrated with Party, Government,Army,Enterprise,Agriculture,Industry,and Trade together, administrating 11 farms and ranches,8 of which lies along the 380-kilo-meter boundary line,and 25 comprehensive industries. |

| 5DSPG takes its geographical advantage to create a special industry actively, and through many years hardworking, they have fundamentally built up various industrial bases for Red grape,sauced tomatoes, edible oil,hybrid seeds,pigmented chrysanthemum,fine wool sheep, cultivations of beef cattle and milk cow. The cotton of "Beijiang"brand has ranked among the top ten famous brand in China by three-years-successive national golden prizes;the plantation of "Beijiang"Red grape has enlarged to 50 thousands ares and rises up to the largest production base among countryside;"Jinbo"hybrid seeds has ranged 27th in fifty top;the series production of "lingyangmai"edible oil, which has been honoured high-quality brand in China and sharing a stock in Xinsai Company,is expanding its capital by integrating the whole corps' grease enterprises; 5DSPG is an important member of Xinjiang Fine Wool Association of "Sapale" ,its fine wool production has been well sold in domestic market, meanwhile, the division is vigorously building up the largest beef-cattle production base. |
